Pledging to make Atlantic County New Jersey?s leader in energy conservation and environmental quality, District 3 Freeholder Frank Sutton today offered a number of initiatives he will urge the Board to approve this year and into the future to build upon the accomplishments made this far.
?There is no more urgent quality of life issue than ensuring a clean environment, protecting our natural resources, and implementing a broad program of energy conservation,? Sutton said.
?Moreover, the policies designed to achieve these goals will result in significant long term savings to our taxpayers as well.?
Sutton listed the following initiatives:
* Expand the use of bio fuels beyond the bus fleet which currently uses it to as many vehicles in the Department of Public Works fleet as practical.
