LoBiondo Announces More Than $200,000 in COPS Grants for South Jersey Schools

U.S. Congressman Frank A. LoBiondo (NJ-02) today announced $200,042 in federal funding to be shared by three local South Jersey law enforcement departments as part of the Secure Our Schools federal program under the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Program.

?The COPS program continues to be a valuable tool to assist local law enforcement with their ongoing efforts to protect our communities, especially our schools. Federal initiatives, such as the Secure Our Schools program, are critical in our ongoing efforts to reduce school violence,? said LoBiondo, a member of the Congressional Law Enforcement Caucus. ?I am pleased these South Jersey communities will be receiving federal funding for this important initiative.?
