E.H.T. Candidates Host Public Meet & Greet
Egg Harbor Township: Frank X Balles and Andrew Parker III announced today that they will be hosting a meet and greet on Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 5 to 6 pm at the Flatstone Grill located at 6105 E Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township. Balles & Parker received the Republican nomination for Egg Harbor Township Committee in March and today are formally announcing their candidacy for office.
“What I love most about serving the public, in any capacity, is meeting people and hearing their concerns,” stated Balles. “Growing up in the township, I am excited to speak to residents about our town and its growth and development as well as my personal passion, fiscal responsibility.” Balles was elected Atlantic County Sheriff in 2008 and served from 2009-2017, twice re-elected to that office.
Parker, an educator in Atlantic City Public Schools, currently serves the township on the planning board and volunteers with the youth sports teams. “I am excited to have this opportunity to serve the township in this capacity once elected by the people”, Parker said. “ I look forward to the challenge of running for public office and I am excited to be a part of this team and hopefully this committee. Public service is in my blood but more importantly in my heart.”
Balles & Parker will make themselves available to the public for questions and comments and then immediately follow the Meet & Greet they will kick-off their campaign with supporters and friends in the banquet room. Tickets for the fundraiser are $25 for a buffet with a cash bar. Balles & Parker are running unopposed in the June primary for the seats formerly held by Mayor James “Sonny” McCullough and Committeeman Frank Finnerty who have announced they would not be seeking re-election.
