Congressman Frank LoBiondo will administer the oath of office to the new officers of the Sheriff?s Association of New Jersey (SANJ) on Friday, January 27, 2012.
Atlantic County Sheriff Frank X. Balles will be sworn in as President and his Undersheriff Ted Kammer will be sworn in as Secretary.
?It is an honor to be sworn in by Congressman LoBiondo? Balles said. ?We are thrilled to have Atlantic County represented on the board. I promised last year to bring this event to Atlantic City and I am very proud to show the Sheriff?s from throughout the state what this city has to offer.?
It is the mission of the Sheriffs? Association of New Jersey to promote, protect, preserve, and enhance the Office of Sheriff in New Jersey in a collective and cooperative manner so that each Sheriff may effectively fulfill his or her responsibilities to the citizens as Sheriff, the chief elected law enforcement officer in his or her county.
The dinner will be held this year at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City at 7 pm. Also taking the oath of office will be 1st Vice President Sheriff Charles M. Miller (Salem County), 2nd Vice-President Sheriff John A. Kemler (Mercer County), and Treasurer Sheriff Charles H. Billingham (Camden County).
