Meet Your Atlantic County Young Republicans
Brian T. Fitzherbert
Chairman, Atlantic County Young Republicans
Brian T. Fitzherbert is the Chairman of the Atlantic County Young Republicans and a former Congressional Candidate in New Jersey’s Second District. As leader of the ACYR’s, Brian’s goal is to bring as many millennials as possible into the Republican Party and provide a platform to discuss issues that matter most to the largest group of emerging voters as well as create a pipeline of future candidates, strategists, and volunteers in Atlantic County.
Brian was raised in a family that has voted Republican since Abraham Lincoln and was taught to value life, liberty, and opportunity from a young age. Not to mention the importance of individualism, fiscal responsibility, limited government, a strong military, and secure borders. Brian often declares that he is a Conservative, like his father before him.
Outside of politics, Brian works in the defense and aerospace industry as a Senior Project Manager supporting the War Fighter. He is responsible for the budget, schedule, and scope on multimillion-dollar programs to deliver products such as drones, electronic warfare testers, simulators, and area attack weapons supporting the United States Army, Navy and Air Force. It goes without saying that he’s a staunch supporter of the military.
Brian completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he studied economics and supply chain management. He also completed his graduate studies in Technical Management from at the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, studying systems engineering and project management.
