Anthony J. DiPietro

Tony currently resides in Galloway with his wife Morgan and daughters, Ava and Grayce. Having been active in the community by serving on various organizations since 2004, he has developed an interest for serving the common good of our community.

As his involvement progressed, Tony has been an active member of the Galloway Township Republican League (since 2012), an elected member of the Atlantic County Republican Committee serving Galloway Township (since 2014), an appointed member of the Galloway Township Zoning Board (since 2014), and an elected member of Galloway Township Council (since 2016). He has aided in many local campaigns in support of our current elected officials. Amongst his involvement locally, Tony also serves in various non-profit organizations such as the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation, which raises money for Amyloidosis Research. He is also a volunteer for the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation Paddle for a Cause, which raises money for cancer research, and is involved in the promotion of computer science through various events, such as StockHack held at Stockton University.

Tony is a graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland (B.A., Business Management, 1995) and Stockton University in Pomona, New Jersey (M.A., Instructional Technology, 2007).

Having worked in the private sector for the NASDAQ Stock Market and as a proprietary equity trader for Pershing Trading LLC, he has developed an understanding of the importance of managing finances and a strong work ethic. Tony currently utilizes his background in finance to educate high school students in Egg Harbor Township teaching classes in finance and computer science. He believes teaching students the importance of being accountable and developing a strong work ethic with a positive attitude will allow them to become life long learners and responsible citizens in society.

As a member of Galloway Township Council, Tony has utilized his diverse background to serve in the best interest of the citizens of Galloway Township. He has developed an open line of communication between Council and both Boards of Education, assists in the promotion of responsible economic development in the Township, and stresses the importance of acknowledging our police and public employees for their successful efforts in keeping our community a safe place to live. Through his experience in both the private and public sectors, Tony has gained a true understanding what it means to be fiscally responsible. Tony plans to continue to find the balance between the promoting responsible economic development and protecting the natural beauty of our county which makes Atlantic County a great place for families live and grow.
